1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking an appointment with Locsby.dev, you ("Client") agree to be bound by these Terms and Agreement. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Locsby.dev, operated by Devin ("Service Provider," "we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not book or use our services.

2. Services Offered
Locsby.dev specializes in professional hair care services, including but not limited to:

All services are performed by licensed professionals with expertise in natural hair care and loc maintenance.
3. Booking and Appointments
3.1 Booking Process

All appointments must be booked through our website only.

A $10 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

By completing a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Agreement.
3.2 Appointment Confirmation
-
You will receive a confirmation via email or text message once your appointment is successfully booked.
-
It is your responsibility to ensure that the appointment date and time are correct.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
4.1 Cancellations
-
24 hours advance notice is required for all cancellations.
-
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
-
No refunds will be issued for cancellations, regardless of timing.
4.2 Rescheduling
-
12 hours advance notice is required to reschedule an appointment.
-
Rescheduling requests made with less than 12 hours notice may result in forfeiture of your deposit.

Rescheduling is subject to availability.
4.3 No-Show Policy
-
A "no-show" occurs when a client fails to appear for a scheduled appointment without prior notice.

Clients are allowed two (2) no-show occurrences.
-
After two no-shows, the client will be permanently blocked from booking future appointments with Locsby.dev.
-
No exceptions will be made to this policy.
4.4 Late Arrivals

We provide a grace period for late arrivals; however, excessive lateness may result in shortened service time or rescheduling at the Service Provider's discretion.

Appointments may be canceled if the client arrives excessively late, and the deposit will be forfeited.
5. Payment Terms

5.2 Pricing

All service prices are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice.

Additional fees may apply for services requiring extra time or materials, including but not limited to detangling fees.
5.3 Payment Due

Full payment is due at the time of service completion.

Failure to pay in full may result in being blocked from future bookings.
6. Refund Policy
6.1 No Refunds

Locsby.dev does not issue refunds for any reason, including but not limited to:

Cancellations (with or without notice)

Dissatisfaction with services
-
Change of mind
-
No-shows
-
6.2 Service Corrections

If you are dissatisfied with your service, you must notify us within 48 hours of your appointment.

We will make reasonable efforts to correct the issue at no additional charge.

Corrections are offered at the sole discretion of the Service Provider and do not guarantee a refund or credit.
7. Client Responsibilities and Expectations
7.1 Hair Preparation
Clients are required to arrive with:

Clean, shampooed hair (unless otherwise instructed for specific services)
-
Fully detangled hair
Failure to arrive with detangled hair may result in:
-
Additional fees for detangling services
-
Extended appointment time
-
Rescheduling of the appointment at the Service Provider's discretion
7.2 Children Policy

Clients may bring no more than two (2) children to appointments.
-
Children must be four (4) years of age or older.
-
Children must be able to sit still and remain quiet during the appointment.
-
The Service Provider reserves the right to reschedule or terminate services if children become disruptive.
7.3 Conduct
-
Clients are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner.
-
The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to disrespectful behavior, intoxication, or failure to comply with salon policies.
8. Photo Release and Marketing Consent
8.1 Automatic Consent

By booking an appointment with Locsby.dev, you automatically consent to having before-and-after photos taken of your hair for promotional and marketing purposes.
-
These photos may be used on our website, social media platforms, print materials, and other marketing channels.
8.2 Opt-Out Option
-
If you do not wish to have your photos used for promotional purposes, you must explicitly notify us in writing (via email or text) prior to your appointment.
-
Failure to opt out will be considered automatic consent.
8.3 No Compensation
-
Clients will not receive compensation for the use of their photos in marketing materials.
9. Liability and Disclaimers
9.1 Limitation of Liability
Locsby.dev and its Service Provider shall not be held liable for:

Allergic reactions to products used during services. Clients are responsible for disclosing any known allergies prior to service.

Damage to hair or scalp resulting from prior chemical treatments, heat damage, improper home care, or pre-existing conditions.

Adverse reactions to hair products, dyes, or treatments, unless caused by gross negligence on the part of the Service Provider.
-
Unsatisfactory results due to the natural texture, condition, or limitations of the client's hair.
9.2 Client Disclosure

Clients must disclose all relevant information regarding their hair history, including but not limited to:
-
Prior chemical treatments (relaxers, perms, color, etc.)
-
Known allergies or sensitivities
-
Current medications that may affect hair or scalp
-
Any scalp conditions or concerns
-
Failure to disclose relevant information may void any claims of liability against Locsby.dev.
9.3 Assumption of Risk
By booking a service, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with hair care services, including the possibility of allergic reactions, skin irritation, or unsatisfactory results.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Ownership
All content, including but not limited to the Locsby.dev name, logo, images, branding, website design, and marketing materials, are the exclusive intellectual property of Locsby.dev and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
10.2 Prohibited Use
Clients and third parties are prohibited from:

Copying, reproducing, or distributing any Locsby.dev branding or content without express written permission.

Using the Locsby.dev name or logo for any purpose without authorization.
Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.
11. Changes to Terms and Pricing
Locsby.dev reserves the right to:

Modify these Terms and Agreement at any time without prior notice.

Change service prices at any time.
Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms or services provided by Locsby.dev shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Michigan. By booking a service, you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Agreement constitute the entire agreement between you and Locsby.dev regarding the use of our services and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations, whether written or oral.
